Requirements

  • LCSW, LMHC, OR LMFT

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related Human Services field.

  • Must meet standards of Level I and Level II criminal background screening in accordance with FL Statutes (F.S.) 435.04 and (F.S.) 408.809.

As a Licensed Therapist, you'll be at the heart of our commitment to supporting adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Your role will involve assessing the unique needs of clients and their families, coordinating essential services, and ensuring they receive the support they require. Through compassionate counseling and guidance, you'll help individuals identify their goals, explore available options, and provide the necessary resources and treatments to facilitate their journey.

Your work will encompass providing individual, family, and couples therapy, fostering a nurturing environment where clients can explore and grow. Primary Functions:

Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients and families in an office setting.

Prepare appropriate documentation to bill services by established scheduled due dates; maintain and generate necessary documentation in a timely manner.

Review client charts to ensure quality assurance and compliance with state and federal standards and regulations.


Skills & Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Comprehensive therapy skills with children, adults, families, abuse, neglect, and substance abuse.
Ability to effectively interact with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, methods,
procedures, and standards.
Ability to evaluate the progress of therapeutic programs and make individual modifications.
Ability to maintain emotional stability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and other stresses and to set appropriate limits and boundaries with clients.
Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to patient rights.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Ability to use basic computer applications including but not limited to Electronic Health Record programs, Word, Excel, and G-Suites
